Dr Htwe is a compassionate and caring doctor as well as a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians( FRACP ). Dr Htwe has practiced medicine across Australia with experience in rural medicine.
She obtained her undergraduate medical degree from oversea, Myanmar. She moved to Australia in 2009 and further obtained her postgraduate fellowship in Australia, specialised in general and acute care medicine. She completed her basic physician training in Western Australia and advanced training at Monash Health, Victoria. She has special interest in diabetes ( especially type 2 DM ) and broad range of clinical experience including diagnosing and treating undifferentiated diseases and chronic diseases.
Currently , she is working as general and acute care physician at Bass Coast Health where majority of patient population are geriatric in nature. She enjoys providing care to such population and would like to expand care to those living in residential aged accommodation.
She loves to spend her leisure time with family and other time she enjoys reading and fishkeeping.
