Dr Wong is a geriatrician with over a decade of experience in care of the elderly. He specializes in a range of geriatric syndromes including dementia, delirium, falls prevention, polypharmacy, with a special interest in cognitive assessment. His focus is on a personalized and holistic approach to patient care with an emphasis on shared decision-making.
He graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide, completed his Masters in Perioperative Medicine through Monash University, Specialist Certificate in Gerontology by the University of Melbourne, and subsequently awarded his Fellowship in Geriatrics by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Dr Wong has practiced in a wide variety of health centers throughout his career including Adelaide, Townsville, Cairns, Darwin, Brisbane and Gold Coast, before finally deciding to return home to Melbourne where he continues to provide top tier service to his patients in the broader community.
